Almond Meal Blanched is also known as Almond Flour. Our blanched almond meal is creamy in colour as the almond skins have been removed prior to being ground. Almond meal can be used as a flour substitute in gluten free cooking. It adds a deliciously sweet, mild nutty flavour when used in baking, such as scones, cakes, muffins, bread, friands, biscuits or macaroons. It can also be used as a gluten free thickener eg in pancakes, meatballs or pasta. Almond meal is a natural source of protein, fibre and vitamin E.
